The people behind The PHNX

So many hands went into this place.

The name of the building is no accident. It’s called the PHNX because this building literally burned down and rose from the ashes. When a fire took our building in May of 2023, the Trussville Fire Department showed up fast, and our community showed up right behind them. The members and friends, the neighbors, our family, and everyone around us simply refused to quit. The community is the reason this space exists.

We're Andrew and Candace. We've called Trussville home since 1997, and we rebuilt The PHNX over two years with more help and more grace than we could ever repay. Andrew handles the building and the details; Candace is the one you'll talk to, plan with, and celebrate with. It's our home away from home, and we hope it feels like that for you too.
