  • The PHNX can accommodate up to 150 guests depending on layout. For seated dinners and events with a dance floor, the space is most comfortable between 75 and 120 guests. The open 75 by 35 foot main hall and approximately 28 foot ceilings allow for flexible layouts without feeling crowded.

  • Yes. The entire building and main hall is fully climate controlled for year round comfort. Large glass bay doors can be opened for natural airflow when desired, while still maintaining indoor temperature control when closed.

  • Yes. All bookings at The PHNX include exclusive use of the entire venue during your rental period. There are no overlapping events and no shared hallways with other parties.

  • Rental includes exclusive use of the main hall, covered patio, foyer, upstairs kitchen access, and standard cleaning after your event. We also provide setup guidance and layout planning support to ensure your event flows smoothly.

  • Yes. We offer premium oak round tables and gold chiavari chairs as optional upgrades. These can elevate the overall look of your event while keeping setup simple and cohesive.

  • Just call us. A signed rental agreement are required to secure your date. Dates are reserved on a first come, first served basis.

  • We accept major credit cards, ACH payments, checks, and cash. Payment schedules are outlined in the rental agreement at the time of booking.

  • Our parking lot accommodates approximately 80 vehicles. Additional street parking is available.

  • While tours are encouraged so you can see the space in person, they are not required to book. We are happy to provide layout examples, photos, and detailed information to help you make a confident decision.

  • No. We do not require a food and beverage minimum. You are free to work with licensed and insured vendors that align with your event goals.

  • Wedding pricing varies based on date and season. Founding wedding packages currently begin between $3,500 and $4,500 for prime Saturdays, with lower rates available for Fridays and Sundays. We recommend reaching out early, as popular dates book quickly.

  • Yes. Many couples choose to host both their ceremony and reception in the same space. The open layout allows for seamless transitions between ceremony seating, cocktail hour, and reception without requiring guests to travel between locations.

  • Most couples book 9 to 18 months in advance for prime Saturdays. If you are flexible with your date, availability may be closer. We recommend inquiring as soon as you have a target season in mind.

  • Yes. Well behaved dogs are welcome to participate in your ceremony, provided they are supervised at all times. We recommend coordinating with your planner or a designated handler for a smooth experience.

Logistics and Policies

  • Rental periods vary by package and event type. Standard wedding rentals include dedicated time for setup, event duration, and breakdown. Specific access times are outlined in your agreement so expectations are clear from the start.

  • Music must end by 10:00 pm in accordance with local guidelines. This allows events to conclude responsibly while respecting the surrounding community. All timing details are clearly outlined in your rental agreement.

  • We understand that vendor timing does not always align perfectly with event hours. Limited early drop offs or next day pickups may be accommodated depending on the volume of items and available storage space. We coordinate directly with you and your vendors to determine what is feasible and aim to make the process as smooth as possible.

  • Final guest counts are typically due two weeks prior to your event. This allows adequate time for layout adjustments and vendor coordination.

  • Yes. The PHNX is located in downtown Trussville near multiple hotel options and walkable restaurants, making it convenient for out of town guests.
