Pricing & booking

A Sunday event is $550 for 5 hours and a Saturday event is $750 for 6 hours, both for up to 125 guests with cleaning included. Tables and chairs are available as affordable add-ons, so you only pay for what your event needs. Additional time is $100 per hour based on availability.

Our 8-hour wedding package is $3,400 total ($3,200 rental plus $200 cleaning) and our 10-hour package is $3,700 total ($3,500 rental plus $200 cleaning). Both include ceremony setup, room flip, bridal suite, groom room, tables and chairs for up to 125 guests, an on-site event lead, and post-event cleaning. Additional hours are $300 per hour. Pricing is all-in with no hidden fees or asterisks.

We host events on Saturdays and Sundays. Sunday events can begin at 1:00 PM. If you have a specific date in mind, reach out and we'll check availability for you right away.

Your rental includes exclusive use of the main hall, covered patio, foyer, and upstairs prep space access, plus the professional sound system and standard cleaning after your event. We also provide setup guidance and layout planning support so your event flows smoothly. Wedding packages additionally include tables and chairs for up to 125 guests, ceremony setup, and the room flip.

Reach out by phone, text, email, or our contact form to confirm your date is open. A signed rental agreement and deposit secure your date. Dates are reserved on a first come, first served basis.

We accept major credit cards, ACH payments, checks, and cash. Payment schedules are outlined in the rental agreement at the time of booking.

Tours are encouraged so you can experience the space in person, but they're not required to book. We're happy to share layout examples, photos, and detailed information to help you make a confident decision.

The venue & the space

The PHNX can accommodate up to 150 guests depending on layout. For seated dinners and events with a dance floor, the space is most comfortable between 75 and 125 guests. The open 75 by 35 foot main hall and 28-foot ceilings allow for flexible layouts without feeling crowded.

Yes. Every booking includes exclusive use of the entire venue during your rental period. There are no overlapping events and no shared spaces with other parties. The building is yours.

Yes. The entire building and main hall is fully climate controlled for year-round comfort. The large glass bay doors can be opened for natural airflow when desired, while still maintaining indoor temperature control when closed.

Yes. We offer premium oak round and rectangular tables, a walnut highboy table, gold Chiavari chairs with cushions, and polyester linens as affordable add-ons. Wedding packages include tables and chairs for up to 125 guests at no additional cost.

Our on-site lot accommodates approximately 80 vehicles, free and paved. Additional street parking is available nearby.

Yes. The PHNX is in downtown Trussville near multiple hotels and walkable restaurants, making it convenient for out-of-town guests.

Vendors & food

We're happy to share recommendations if you'd like a starting point, but the choice is always yours.

No. We do not require any food and beverage minimum. You're free to work with the licensed and insured vendors that fit your event and your budget.

Yes. Alcohol is permitted when served by a licensed and insured bartending team. We're glad to point you toward bartenders we've worked with if you need a recommendation.

We know vendor timing doesn't always line up perfectly with event hours. Limited early drop-offs or next-day pickups may be accommodated depending on the volume of items and available storage. We coordinate directly with you and your vendors to make it as smooth as possible.

Weddings at The PHNX

Yes, and most couples do. The room flip is included in both wedding packages. The open layout allows seamless transitions from ceremony seating to cocktail hour to reception, with no need for guests to travel between locations.

The PHNX is ideally suited for weddings of 60 to 120 guests, with a sweet spot around 75 to 100. That allows for a seated dinner, dance floor, and natural flow to the covered patio without feeling crowded. We can accommodate up to 125 seated, with the space optimized for comfort and experience rather than maximum capacity.

The bridal suite is a private 12 by 27 foot room dedicated to the wedding party, with plenty of space to get ready without feeling rushed. The groom room is a separate space just for the guys, with a TV ready to go. Both spaces are private from each other and from the rest of the venue.

The main hall has multiple 12-foot glass bay doors that open directly toward the covered patio. Couples often use the patio for cocktail hour, lounge space, or open-air dancing while keeping the main hall climate controlled. It creates flexibility without sacrificing comfort.

Most couples book 9 to 18 months ahead for prime weekend dates. If you're flexible on your date, availability may be closer in. We recommend reaching out as soon as you have a target season in mind.

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to be part of your ceremony, provided they're supervised at all times. We recommend coordinating with your planner or a designated handler for a smooth experience.

Logistics & policies

Rental periods vary by package and event type. Social events run 5 to 6 hours and wedding packages run 8 to 10 hours, with your specific access times outlined clearly in your agreement so expectations are set from the start. Additional time is available based on availability.

Music ends by 10:00 PM in accordance with local guidelines, allowing events to wrap responsibly while respecting the surrounding community. All timing details are outlined in your rental agreement.

Final guest counts are typically due two weeks before your event. This gives us time for layout adjustments and vendor coordination.
