The Turnbow Family's 4th of July Reunion at The PHNX
There is just something about family from all over coming together all in one room that gets us every single time!!
The Turnbow family gathered here at The PHNX on the 4th of July and it was everything a holiday gathering should be. Family and friends drove in from all over just to be together, catch up, and celebrate the day the right way and you could feel it from the moment people started walking through the door!!
The Food
Homemade family dishes lined the tables from end to end and the spread was absolutely incredible!! We have to talk about the ribs and the macaroni and cheese because they were honestly unreal!! When family brings the food they have been making for generations to a gathering like this, it just hits different and this one absolutely delivered!!
Red white and blue was everywhere you looked and the whole space just felt so festive and so perfectly July 4th!!
The Generations
This is the part that gets us every time. From the littlest baby being loved on by everyone in the room to the grandparents just soaking it all in and taking in every single moment, you could feel how much this time together meant to every single person there!!
The laughter. The hugs. The cousins who had not seen each other in way too long finally getting to catch up. The older generation watching the younger ones grow up right before their eyes. These are the gatherings we love hosting the most because the love in the room is just so real and so full!!
The Space
One of our favorite things about a family reunion at The PHNX is how well the space works for a gathering like this. The main hall gives families room to set up their food, spread out at tables, and let the kids have space to move around. The covered patio opens things up even more so nobody feels cooped up inside on a summer day!!
No shared spaces. No other events happening next door. Just the Turnbow family and their people having the whole building to themselves for the day!!
The Turnbow Family
Thank you so much for letting us be part of your 4th of July!! You all were so much fun and the love in that room from start to finish was something we will not forget!! We hope it was everything you hoped for and more and we hope those ribs and that macaroni and cheese make another appearance someday because wow!!
